Calendar stuff

5-6-2008  12:25 by Peter

Ok, after typing the complete post twice because of my buggy blog-system.......making it a bit shorter now.
Yesterday at Codegarden08 I was surprised, VERY surprised. Some people ACTUALLY use my orginal blogCalendar!

While heavilly outdated, there still seem to be quite a few people interested in! Well, maybe a good time to pick up development again! As you see, the calendar I use my blog, isn't quite like the old one anymore. SO I actually DID some work on it a while back. So, I'm going to pick up the development and see if I can extend it a bit more. If someone is interested, just leave a comment, I'll get back to you on it then!

Not typing anymore......it might disappear again, yes, I have to look into that also ;-)

PS: I forgot to add categories.......guess what, all my text was gone again......luckily there's something like a clipboard!

    Here's another.

If I browse to a post of a particular day, the calendar is rendering the current month rather than rendering the month in which the blogPost is made

eg http://umbraco.bruunebonen.com/2008/4/8.aspx renders blogCalendar for june 2008

    Hi Peter,

I've got a similar blogCalendar on my site (I did develop it myself as it was a good experience in writing custom user controls for umbraco - although I knew about others that have done similar things), so I might throw in some extra ideas for development if you don't mind.

    So here's my wishlist:

    - Support for alternate templates, both on month and day level
    - ... Can't think of any other for the moment
